It is very hard to change IMEI number of SAMSUNG N7000 GALAXY NOTE..
But I found a solution to change or repair IMEI number of SAMSUNG N7000 GALAXY NOTE..
**** NOTE CHANGING "IMEI" IS ILLEGAL .. AND THIS IS FOR EDUCATION AND TRAINING PURPOSE ONLY ******
We need
1) samsung tool 12.2 2) samsung tool 13.7 or higher version 4)SAMSUNG USB MODEM DRIVER 3) N7000 android 2.3.6 firmware 4) A valid IMEI
1. First we have to Flash it with Android 2.3.6 firmware.
here is the list of SAMSUNG N7000 GALAXY NOTE 2.3.6 firmwares.
Android Solution: Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 All Original Europe Stock ROMs Firmware Packaged list
download any unlocked version.(i mean download without telephone company's customized or locked firmware.. like )
for example I have downloaded GT-N7000_ATO_N7000XXKKA_N7000OXXKK5 this version. if causes problem during downloading from the website , then you can download it from z3x support area. (SHELL)
2. now unzip it.
you will find a file name like "N7000XXKKA_N7000OXXKK5_N7000XXKK5_HOME.tar.md 5"
3.open samsung tool 13.7
4. SELECT N7000XXKKA_N7000OXXKK5_N7000XXKK5_HOME.tar.md5 file as PDA file .
5. NOW SWITCH OFF THE PHONE.. INSERT FULLY CHARGED BATTERY. HOLD "VOLUME DOWN" AND "HOME" KEY AND INSERT USB CABLE.
6. SELECT PORT ON SAMSUNG TOOL 13.7 ,NOW CLICK ON FLASH BUTTON.
7. AFTER FLASH
Disconnect USB cable from phone.
Go to Menu->Settings->Applications->Development.
Turn on "USB Debugging" option.
When message is appear press "Yes".
Go to dial window.
Enter "*#7284#" number.
Set "USB" radio button to "PDA" value.
Close window.
Go to dial window.
Enter "*#9090#" number.
Set "Diag config" to "USB" value.
Restart phone.
8. Now open Samsung Tool 12.2 . connect Usb to phone. Press "Read Info" in Samsung Tool 12.2.
9. press "unlock" and wait for root . it may be take 10 or 15 minute..
10. Now tick on Repair Efs and click on "Repair" button.
11. there type a valid Imei and press ok.. it may be take time and phone will restart 2 or three times..
If all thing goes well then you will get this kindda MGS...
